Finally got a chance to take the boy fishing for more than a hour or two. He has got into cast netting so I took mine. I found out that a crappie will eat a 1.5” shad 2 to 1 over a minner…
Everything likes shad, I mean everything. If you can catch some 4-6" Gizzards, you can absolutely wear out some bass.
