My five year old grandson wants to hunt with me this fall and I need a recommendation for a safe two man ladder stand for us. Height doesn’t matter because I will probably leave a section or two off. I dont want to be high with him.

millennium makes a two man. Hard to beat the comfort of their seats. Muddy also makes good ones with that style seat. Whichever you go with make sure it has comfortable seating.

Definitely. Their seats are so comfortable I literally have to fight falling asleep sitting in them for long periods of time. We have a few at club but the most comfortable one is all one seat. I think it’s a L224 SL Lite 18 Ft Double Ladder Stand . Most comfortable Treestand I have ever sat in.

Get one with a large platform. It really helps if you have a little extra room when you are entering or leaving the stand with a little one. We have a few (unsure of brand) that along with the large platform, the seat will fold up allowing even more room. Not the most comfortable stand but the safety features makes it perfect to bring little ones.

The Hawk seats are very comfortable, but the skwerls chewed on a couple of them and Hawk doesn't sell replacements. I've called the several times over a couple of years hoping to get someone who would help me out. No luck..

We use the Rivers Edge and Hawk brands for our leases in Kentucky. They are pretty comparable to the Milleniums and you can find some good deals on them at times.

We have a few Ol’Man double ladders and several Muddy’s. I can’t tell a difference in them compared to the Millennium. My daughter has been sitting in them with me since she was 5.
