Can anyone tell me when the rut is in Brierfield?

Generally, the activity really picks up beginning in December in the area. I've been hunting the heck out of W. Shelby, and Bibb county the last couple of years. We can argue all day about the actual rut on this board. But for me, it seems like things start moving around good early December and slow down around New Years.

Last two weeks of December imo.

Hunted that area a good bit brierfield/six mile

One of the many things I have learned from this board is that activity during the actual mating slows down. What we tend to notice is the pre-rut and post-rut activity. For me, it seems like the older bucks really start getting brave in those pre-rut days. Seems to be around Thanksgiving when it starts and then peaks in Mid-December.

I hunted in Woodstock a few years ago, didn't know if that would be same rut as Brierfield

I have never hunted anywhere that there wasnt rut activity in January
