Kinda weird when you look at it like that. Theresabout 500 trees +- a few, ive never counted them. Really a small orchard. Some folks have thousands of trees. This is about 5 acres. Some orchards in Chilton county are 300 acres or more. One of our members here has over 10x as many as we have. The amount of work that would go into that is mind blowing. Every one of those little dots is an individual that has to be cared for. Farming can sure be an amazing thing. I understand why God told us to do it.

That’s beautiful Joe. I love those Chilton county peaches. Tried them for the first time about 4 years ago and they’re absolutely delicious.

If you buy a peach in a basket at a S&S grocery store, the two grocery stores in Arab, Piggly Wiggly in Warrior, Glovers produce in cullman or Ginas produce i Gardendale, theyre ours. We qill also pick up the Piggly Wigglys in Cullman and Snead and the grocery store in Douglas and one in Boaz next week. We supply S&S and Glovers all the time and pick up the others as we can. You can also come get them from us. If you want some, just let me know. About 99% of what we sell is wholesale. We sell a few to individuals and even u-pick some. We also give quite a few away. A basket of peaches is a good way to someones heart

When are you making a delivery to Gina’s? Right now she has South Carolina red seed peaches. Or that’s what she had last week. They are some mighty good peaches. Would like to try yours if you can tell me when you’ll have some there.

We delivered to her twice last week. She was putting out the last she had when i delivered them. Theywere pretty big peaches. Ours were a little smaller. I believe that was Tuesday, then again on saturday, i think. We had only sold to her once before that, earlier in the season, she said she had lost my wifes number, took her a minute to get back ahold of her. We are supposed to be keeping her in peaches from.here on out this year. If im not mistaken, were also supposed to pick up the grocery store on 31 in Gardendale behid the Krystals some time soon, maybe this week. Those peaches she had looked like bountys. They were pretty peaches. What we sold her was contenders, theyre a little smaller but a great peach. My wife has been getting alot of compliments on them. We have just ran ot of bountys, wont have any more that size this year

That's cool Jwalker. You should be very proud of what you have there.

Were mighty proud of it. The Lord has blessed us every step of the way, from when we started looking for land to plant a orchard and hes still blessing it all the time. Weve had a few minor problems but it has sure been awesome just watching the Lord do his thing, and getting to be a little part of it. I been getting pictures of hens lately but no little ones, i had started getting worried about the hatch this year. Yesterday, before church, i went over tgere to get something and there was two hens and about twenty little ones, about the size of half grown chickens. Almost like the Lord was saying "worry about something else, this is fine."

Drove out to Crow Mtn in Jackson County yesterday morning. Got white peaches for an older lady that I mow her yard . Got nectarines and peaches for our family. Not as big this year , and pretty expensive but I don’t mind paying the farmer for their effort. Very tasty !
