If power company removed power lines that ran through middle of property we lease, is still p.c. property or will timber company plant it ?

Power company doesn’t own the property where the line was

I would say still power company. You could ask your timber company rep what the deal is though.

Hoping they don't plant, it's only access to property, they just sprayed couple weeks ago so probably fixing to replant.

Power company has an easement until they legally vacate it.

Way we are set up. If we remove the line. We loose that easement. We leave a lot of dead lines just to keep the easement. But every company is different.

Tornados came thru about 3 yrs ago tore things up, power company tried getting to some of it on our personal property then just took lines and poles out. Going try get in touch with timber company see if they will leave little bit of road

If the easement is deeded, it doesn’t matter if it’s utilized or not; it’s still there for that purpose. The timber company ‘can’ plant trees. The power company can clear their easement as needed. A power easement generally doesn’t preclude planting, but might/might not preclude planting trees, depending on how it was written and what the lawyers say.

Talked to timber rep, he wasn't sure but said if they planted we could cut just enough to get access to the road. Thanks for replies, just wondered if anybody else had dealt with this.
