We’ve had the dozier putting in some hours on our acreage over the past few weeks, and as a result, I have two extra 1 acre fields that I didn’t have a month ago. Is there anything I can plant this late? Chambers county, so we have fairly high deer density. I’ll be no-till planting fall crops in October. Just looking for something that can be done in the mean time to feed critters, or at least build up the soil. Thanks,

Buckwheat for sure. Might as well throw in millet.

It's so dry down here in N. Fl that you would not be planting anything without irrigation.
