I’ve got a set of deer ribs in the freezer my boy wanted to cook and eat. Never cooked deer ribs before. Need suggestions to what to do. Need instructions from beginning to end. Appreciate it!

Chad

The only reason I hunt ducks is to watch the dogs work.

Good boy Jock

I have seen guys cook them in a pressure cooker and they said they were good. Haven't personally cooked them or eaten them.

I agree with the gallery. Thick layer of tallow forms. Gotta boil and cool then skim

Don't blame me for your bad decision-

I had deer ribs that were delicious. A friend of my brother was who cooked them. He also made the best deer jerky.

He was a pothead that lived in a single-wide mobile home in a big cutover. He was probably 10-15 years older than me and my brother.

We quit eating his cooking after he showed my brother one of his secrets to making the delicious dish. He first started with soaking the ribs and jerky meat in pickled jalapeños IN HIS BATH TUB!🤣

My grandma would simmer them for hours and make stock for various soups.

Instantly brought the Seinfeld episode where Cramer was using his bathtub like this to mind !
