Hey CNC, what I’ve noticed this year is the areas I have done a lot of improvement to substantial acreages of native browse, like growing season burns or selective herbicide treatments to promote more desirable herbaceous growth over woody stems, fall discing, etc, I have far less pressure on summer crops there. In areas of closed canopy forests with little other active management summer crops lasted a week after germination and they’re now essentially gone

I could see that with the right deer density and large enough fields
