Anybody have any experience with a S&W M&P22? They are on sale for $329.99 at Woods and Water, and I am seriously considering getting one. I may also consider a Walther..

I know my smith and wesson 15/22 rifle is a blast to shoot

I know the Ruger SR22 pistols get great reviews and they are in that same price range.

Just get a Ruger, Mark II or III they got the .22 figured out to as good as it gets.

I've heard good things. It may not be a great reason, but I just don't like the way it looks.

DO NOT get the Walther P22. You'll regret it. Ruger MK3 or Browning Buckmark will give you thousands of rounds of .22 happiness

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

The Beretta NEOS runs in the same price range, too...stylish, accurate, and dependable. The 6.5" Inox is a great shooter!

For hunting, the Ruger or Buckmark.

For just plinking, get the GSG 1911 22lr

BuckMark.

The Walther is a cheaply made POS.

I've got one and it shoots great. I've got a laser and light on it, and it is an armadillo killer. Only thing I question a little is the strength of the safety, it seems to be weak.

The Neos feels great but was told by Mark Whitlock that they do more repairs on that gun than any other .22. So, I bought a Ruger Mark III, stainless with a bull barrel. Great gun.
