Was watching the National Geographic Channel and this native Indian was running Ducks down with his boat and shooting them. A complete No-No for us Caucasians....but they are allowed to hunt in any manner they desire. They also hunt Geese at night.

The natives in Alaska have a really nice life if they don't fall victim to drugs and alcohol. My son worked up there for a few months and explained all of the benefits they have. Free in state college. Free healthcare in their own hospitals( and good health care - that's what he was there for). Yearly checks from the gas companies that were pretty large ( and enabled many to afford their habit). Subsidies on housing, new businesses, etc.

Oh, yeah. The natives up there can do just about anything they want except stay out of the bottle.

I would regularly see 2-3 year old Honda 40hp outboards laying around like trash. I think they get a new one every 3-5 years.
