Educate me on buckwheat ( pros and cons)

Pro: great soil builder, grows well just about anywhere, deer eat it and dove will eat the seed
Con: price

It adds phosphorus back to the soil. Deer eat it but don't destroy it. Honey bees love it. You can triple crop it in alabama. When it goes to seed bushhogg it and the seed resprouts, 60 days later it seeds out again and repeat. Great soil builder. No cons in my opinion. Free seed after initial planting. I like planting it with sunn hemp.
