This is probably my favorite custom that John Gallagher has built for me, even though it's not as flashy as the other two. I dropped it out of a ladder stand last year. It only bent the trigger guard and it's so minor that it took a while to notice it.

25-06 with Remington 700 action.
Reworked Remington trigger. 2.5 lbs.
24" Heavy Lilja barrel. Custom contoured.
Bell and Carlson Alaskan II stock with aluminum bedding block.
Swarovski Z3 4x12x50 scope. BRF retical.
Leupold base and rings.

Is that a #4 contour?

I'm thinking of building a 30-06 using Remington 700 LA ADL and a #4 contour Rock Creek barrel. However, I'm wanting a 22" barrel.

I think it started out a #4 but John had to turn it down a small amount to fit the Alaskan II barrel channel. That's why he said it was a custom contour.
I hunted a year with it being a 26" barrel but I took it back and had John chop it to a 24". I like it a lot better with the 24".
