I have a guy with long covid that wants to back out for the season, so I have a spot open. 1050 acres. 10 members. $1400. We just put up 3 new shooting houses (you can see them in the deer hunting forum), I believe we have 11 total, and multiple ladder stands. More than 20 green fields. 3.5 year old or older bucks, no killing doe's off green fields. Soil tested and limed 3 years ago. 3 buck limit, 2 doe limit. Lot's of clover, although the summer has been tough on it. Planting 36 pounds of whitetail clover this fall, to refresh everything.
Half the lease was thinned last summer. Another section is supposed to be clear cut next year. Will entertain less members as things move forward. Neighboring lease runs same deer program we do, 3.5 year old or order bucks, and very limited doe harvest.
Hopefully we can increase doe harvest, main thing we need to work on is predator control. So if you have experience there, that probably moves you to the front of the line! LOL!!
