Agreed, I dont weedeat, I spray but my parents live next door and together we have 3 acres...it took about 2.5 hours with a 54" lawn tractor but with the Scag I have done it in 45 minutes...and thats not REALLY hauling azz. Turns grass cutting from a dreadful chore into something you knock out real quick and move onto better things. My weekends NEVER involve yard work...I get that crap out of the way one day after work and be done with it.

I like my lazer z, bought it last year and havent had the first problem with it. Look into exmarks residental line or look on craigslist for a used scag tiger cub or lazer z. I know a guy that bought a 48 inch tiger cub at southeast auction on 69 only had 15 hours on it and was only 3500, talk about a steal of a deal.

I normally roundup around EVERYTHING to get rid of ALL the weedeating. I don't have alot of time to spend on cutting grass, so the zero turn was worth EVERY penny spent on it.

Same here. I had John Deere tractor style mowers for years that I bought at the JD dealer. With my Hustler I went from 2 1/2 hours to 1 hour mowing time. 7mph don't sound very fast but you can cut a LOT of grass at 7mph and no tractor style mower can come close.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I have a CubCadet 48" fab deck. 23 hp Kohler. I haven't had any problems out of mine. I've had it 4 summers and still have less than 100 hours. I paid $4k new.

Good point, I just never was that busy. smile

I do not know how I could manage my time without our zero turns with three large propertys we have.. zero turns are the ticket if you have large amounts of property to cover

My son just purchased the kubota diesel commercial he got a good deal ring one with low hours like new 7k dollars

I bought a brand new residential cub in 05 or 06 (can't remember), and it's some of the best money I've ever spent. It was 3000.00 with a Kohler courage engine, and all I do is change the oil and put blades on it. I cut 2.5 acres.

Bought me a Gravely this summer and i happy with it. I got the 48Hd and its been good to me. Had 0% for 3 years on yard card when i bought mine. I went with it patially because it had a longer warranty than most mowers but also because its Made here in the USA by a company thats been in business for years!
