With temperatures finally getting into the 90s in the northern part of the state, it's time to hit those stumps with a good dose of Clorox.

Be sure to saturate it well. If you have an older stump that's been well-used, eaten into a hole or so, consider using a gallon + quart. Two gallons might be too much, and just one might not be enough. The quart will give you more benefits if they're really hitting it hard.

If you can find a stump near where a helium balloon landed, even better.

He's not kidding stoolshooter....They'll eat the stump and dig up the dirt around it and eat it too... Use Clorox brand though, not that cheap stuff that Dollar General sells...

On 2nd thought, maybe I shouldnt try it. Ive already got elect fences all around the fruit trees, vegetable garden, flowers and shrubs. and still cant keep them out. If bleach wasnt so expensive, then I might try and pour some along my elect fence to attract them to that

I once had a buck deer visit the well established Clorox stump while I was freshening it up. Idot buck deer drank the Clorox as I was pouring it out! I totally disagree that you must use name brand bleach. Every deer in Lamar and Pickens counties have been raised on DG bleach. If you don't believe that you are obviously a communist or something like that.

Wear knee high rubber boots or hip waders when dispersing Clorox on your stumps.

I did not work for me. But I used the low splatter kind.

Those white fishing boots work well to not show the stains.

Hides the scent from nasty feet, too, around the stump.

Negative we hang them as trail markers for trees stand and stump locations. Hung upside down it’s a stump trail. Hung from the handle trees stand. Had some up 5-6 years better then glow dots.
