Cole you got a spot for a turkey hunter to help out with lease? is turkey hunting a draw also? That area was a one bird unit this year and talks of a draw or limited tags for turkey next season

My buddy and I both applied separate and both drew for archery either sex and antlerless tags. We did both get a Turkey while scouting. Found what we thought were good spots on some WIHA and Corps lands. We were literally in Kansas City on the drive out there when we bought our Turkey tags through the app. 10 Min later it showed our deer tags. Coincidence I suppose. One guy I know did not apply but had drawn last 2 years. He has 2 buddys who drew.
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!

It hit 100 degrees here today. Hard to believe that I'll be leaving for a muzzleloader hunt in Kansas in less than 5 weeks. Yep, was 100 degrees in Robertsdale and I was broke down in Campbell's parking lot. Quite a few people in their archery and gun's section. This has been a HOT summer. I remember around 1985-1986 time frame we went over 100 degrees 7 days in a row in May!

And I just can't get in the right frame of mind to go hunting even though I am after a true giant typical that I already saw 2 years ago. He has gotten even bigger. I should be excited but it is too damn hot to get in the hunting mood.
