also...Im really looking for a member as soon as possible.... as the main reason im even getting a member is to help me with the work..as I have 7 food plots and about 2 miles of roads I bush hog and plant ( the food plots) and needed help. I have only hunted this land alone and have taken many nice bucks here...but Im willing to share with someone who is management minded and has a tractor to help me get work done.
After the planting and work is done..I wont be interested in a member...as That is my motivation for opening my private land to another person.

Hi...thanks for your interest,....Actually Im looking for ONE trophy minded hard working person as a full time and only member.
The only reason Im looking for a member is because of the large amount of work needed EVERY YEAR on the property, not just this year.

This is a unique opportunity as this is my personal hunting land...it is private land surrounded by private agricultural land on three sides. The parcels there are big..one is owned by a landowner that has over 2300 acres he owns and thousands more he leases. He is a huge farmer in the area...and his brother and dad are the only onwes that hunt it and are very trophy minded.

The other side is owned by my friend who also is trophy minded, and whos property allows another access to mine as well through a locked gate.

The other side is about 900 acres owned by two brothers...again management minded.

We have spent YEARS passing on immature bucks and creating a very nice area where we kill very nice bucks right here in North alabama. IT IS HARD even to open it up to anyone to be honest...but when I do it will hopefully be to a LONGTIME member.

As far as the cost..I spent over $3600 this year alone in creating roads and expanding food plots just in dozer and skid steerer fees. fertilizer, seed, lime etc will eat that amount up alone.

Im trying to get a member BEFORE all the work is done. I have pretty good sized food plots and plant about 10 acres. Theres bush hogging. spraying, spreading lime and fertilizer, discing, spreading seed and cultipacking to do. Ive got 2/3s of the bushhogging done after work the last two days, but plan on having everything planted by September 5th.

The money isnt the issue to me...its THE HELP that is most important.
And again. Im looking for someone interested in the LONG TERM,..and who is trophy minded and understands what a mature buck is..

Wish I would have known before I got in another club. I live in Moulton and now Im driving to Marion Co. to hunt. Sounds good to me. If you dont fill it this year please let me know and we can talk about next season. I coach football at Austin and dont get to hunt much till season is over and with small children I need something close to home.
