So I’ve done about all the googling I can and still haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for. Today at the club this fella had a truglo gobble stopper sight ( which I can easily find on Amazon) but he had a chord that plugged into the side of his, that ran down to the forearm and was velcroed onto it that was like a pressure switch. He would squeeze it when he wanted his red dot to come on and release when he wanted it off.

So question is. Where do I find one? I’m probably gonna buy the same sight he had (gobble stopper) but where do I find this switch/chord that plugs into the sight for a on/off switch?

UPDATE… I believe I’ve found it, it don’t show it in any of the pics but I see it in the description of a certain sight.

Can't help you find one, but I've seen them on AR's before.

It looks like the Truglo triton comes with the pressure switch. Truglo would probably sell you the switch separately. Triton looks very similar to the gobble stopper to me. Maybe it would work

I’ve owned a couple of different models but TruGlo ain’t never done much for me.

Question. Why would you want one with a pressure switch that you have to turn off and on when there are sights with enough battery life to turn on at the start of season and turn off when it closes? I turn on my Fastfire the first day and don't turn it off till the end and just change the battery every year before season.

I was thinking the same thing. I've got a Vortex venom and I turn it on when I leave the truck and turn it off when I get back to the truck. The battery is rated for like 10,000 hours.

Having starting out using a holo site, which uses "n" batteries and only lasted 8 hours I learned to turn it on when a bird got within 100 yards. That bein said I'm still doing that with the venom I use now. But once it's on I leave it on for a while.
I'm going to say it's my tupid brain is "trained" that way.

if i hadnt taken up hunting i might have became a juvenile delinquent or worst taken up GOLF

I turn my sight on when it’s killing time and turn it off right after it’s over. I never leave mine on for very long.
