They are great breaded and fried, even almost comparable with Crappie, as long as you cut all of the red meat out. If you don't, that will likely be the last White Bass you'll ever eat. I also like to put the fillets in a bowl of water and knead them to work the fish oil out, then dump the water and repeat until the water stays clear. If you take that extra step they'll surely be delicious.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

It was just a joke. Hell, I thought everybody who fishes fresh water in Alabama knew what a jack fish was.

Creek fished my whole life caught many a Jack on a spinnerbait, never caught one on Tenn.River or Bear Creek lakes,so people in extreme north Alabama may have never seen a jack.

Just poking fun at Gomer. No harm meant.

I clean them on the half shell, and cook them on my smoker. The blood line sticks to the skin when you eat them. All I put on them is a little olive oil and lemon pepper. They are fantastic. My whole family loves them.

99% of the fishing Gomer has done up until the last couple yrs has been farm ponds and small lakes…never ran across one
