We grow the red ones. They do very well. Produce about all summer. Not sure if the black ones would be special for some reason

Not black but red called Heritage and another variety I can't remember. They grow really fast and easy it seems. I got a lot of berries last year.

They do well and produce a lot of sprouts. My wife has them in our front beds and has given a ton of plants away plus have berries for the grand babies
