The Hogue rubber is what what Ruger ships the Alaskan with. The only difference is they have the the Ruger hawk where the Hogue emblem normally is. A few years ago I bought a pair directly from Ruger to go on a Redhawk I had.

Rubber grips on a 44MAG make a lot of difference - you’ll love that new set you ordered.

Them old pachmayr grips r bulky and just look Gawd awful 😃 I've purchased a few the years that had 'em, if i couldn't find some originals, i just slap some Hogues on them.
How many people am i willing to sacrifice for freedom? Everyone. All of them...
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
