The GF and i put up 8 bluebird houses today. Withen a hour she pointed at one of the houses and said look at that. There was a pair of bluebirds already carrying materials into it. Guess we got them out at the right time.
Ethical behavior is doing the right thing when no one else is watching - even when doing the wrong thing is legal. Aldo Leopold .. (except when it comes to trailer tags)

Be prepared to kill House Sparrows. Do not let them raise in one of the boxes. They are non native and invasive. Kill ‘em all. Bluebird houses have to be 300’ apart to get them in every box. They are very territorial. I have them nesting closer together than that but I’ve had a Bluebird trail on our farm since 1989.
