Ive seen that and it really looks like a good way to get a trap Not to fire or Not to close all the way.
In my experience it doesnt matter how well you make a set you will always have critters to uncover them occasionally
When it comes to trapping I prefer the KISS method over anything else
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself
