I know it’s hard to answer this we can’t watch the deer all the time. But do all does get bred? If so and all fawns survive we’ll have a bunch.

When doing fetal collections the rate of conception usually hovers around 96-98%, so yeah basically all of them get bred. It’s rare that one does not. And the wives tale of old barren does is a myth.

As for survival and recruitment, that’s a totally different topic and varies by location.

According to what my cameras tell me, our fawn recruitment rate is about 10%

Typically there is a 70% fawn mortality rate from coyotes, bobcats, etc.
