Never hunted or trapped them but I hunt some Private land in Bankhead and of course we got hogs. We have one area they damage bad every year. Looking for the cheapest way to get into it. Ive seen some of C traps made out of T posts and Hog wire panels. Any of you guys had luck with those style traps? Look fairly cheap efficient way to get a start. Any advice appreciated.

A cattle panel trap with the net door like BOFF posted would be the best, cheapest thing, IMO.

A cattle panel trap with the net door like BOFF posted would be the best, cheapest thing, IMO. This^^^. In the past I would have said a figure 6 panel trap but BOFF blew that design out of the water with his net.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Just start shouting them and they will move along. You’ll have more hunting opportunities too. Just sayin. It’s obvious you are either clueless or don’t really “have hogs”. If you have good land for hogs and good food, just shooting them will not cause them to “move on”. Trust me, it’s an additional shooting opportunity you don’t want to have.
