I’ve always seen the biggest sign post rubs on pines. I’ve never seen a buck work over locust before like the one I showed. Me too and me either. Seen some big ones on cedars and basswood too, but the biggest were always on pines.

I don't hunt over rubs I'm not arguing that, however:
All rubs are "sign posts". Chew on that.
There is a difference, all rubs are not rubbed by most or all bucks in the area. Chew on that. Sally went to the grocery and purchased 2 apples yesterday morning. Question: How many apples did Sally purchase? Answer = 2 I'm good with starting with the basics.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
