Which do y'all prefer? I have always shot multiple pin setup but thinking about getting a single pin setup. What are pros and cons for you on the one you shot?

If your wanting a adjustable sight why do the best of both worlds and get a adjustable sight with a multi pin head. That's what I shoot.
My adjustable sight has a 3 pin head pins are set at 25,35,45 and I can shoot out to 50 without moving it. And if I need or wanna go further then I can dial it into that yardage and I use my bottom pin for that
Single pins are good less clutter in the scope, but you may get caught not be able to adjust it which is ok. You put in some practice and figure out where to set it and not have to hold as high or low for several yards either way.
Multi pin more clutter in the scope, nothing to worry about moving just pick the right pin

I use to shoot a 3 pin sight for about 15 years when I first started bowhunting. Several years ago I started using a single pin and love it. I keep mine set at 30 yds and can shoot from 0-40 yds and still hold on the animal. I don’t see a reason for me to ever go back to a multiple pin sight. My sight of choice is HHA. The pin is super bright and has a manual rheostat.

Been shooting a single pin for probably 17 or 18 years now. Got a 3 pin cartridge coming for an UltaView scope I’ve got mounted on a HHA Tetra base. Gonna play around with it and see how I like it. I’ll either set the middle or third pin up as the floater. Main reason I’m doing it is so I can get to 100 yards. With a single pin in the center of the scope housing I can only get to about 88 yards. Any more than that I run the risk of my arrow contacting the scope housing.

Single pin for me for as long as I can remember. I was doing it when it wasn’t cool. 🤣 I didn’t like the clutter of multiple pins block half sight picture. I run one vertical pin. It’s a Black Gold Ascent verdict with a dial. I keep it at 30.

I moved to a three pin slider 20,30,40 from a single pin. Bottom pin is my floater and will go out to about 80. I find that the multiple pins help me with shot placement on the in-between yardages. I can "bracket" the deer. I always wanted to adjust the single pin to the "correct" yardage and a lot of times you don't have time to be bothering with that. If I'm taking a real long shot I assume I've got the time to get an accurate distance and adjust to suit.

I've always used a single pin and briefly tried a three pin sight when i bought my new Triax. These new bows are so fast that the pins are close together so when I looked through the peep site, I saw more than one pin and had to try and center one of the two pins. Definitely not for me, switched back to a single pin.

I personally like a single pin, multiple pins leave to many chances for (me) human error.

Thanks guys. I think I am going with 3 pin adjustable sight. I want to go with single pin adjustable but afraid I will for to adjust in heat of moment. With 3 pin I can have set for 20,30,40 and have adjustable for father out. I am going to Colorado in September on an elk hunt is reason for me wanting to go to adjustable sight. I will probably end up with single pin adjustable one day.

Unless you have a super slow bow, don’t waste your time with setting your first pin at 20 yds. You should be able to shoot 0-30 yds with your first pin set at 30 yds.

I have two bows that I hunt with, both single pin sights. I got a 3 pin head to hunt with on one of the bows a few years ago in the timber. I swapped to the 3 pin slider and hunted the timber.
I hated that set-up after a couple hunts and drawing on a few elk, came home, put the single pin back on and sold the 3 pin head. i'll never swap back. With my single pin, I leave my sight on 30 when moving.
I can kill proficiently 0-40/45yds with no adjustment. Ya just gotta know your set-up

I shoot a single pin and rarely have to move it. Specially with bait now. I’ll leave it set on 30 and I’m good with anything from the base of the tree to 30. In my years of using one, I’ve only had to move the pin 1 time in the best of the moment and it wasn’t that big of a deal. I think it’s all a preference. I like the single pin because it gives me one thing to focus on.

You're good past 30, just shoot 40 and see what required on your part. It's simple holdover
