People who do not believe what the Word of God says and want to change the context of scripture to fit their lifestyle are friends of the world and enemies of God. We need to pray for, love and be witnesses to those who are sin sick in this world. We need to also realize that we will be attacked and persecuted for our faith and beliefs. But when that happens, we must remember the verse in the first post of this topic and we must remember these words especially focusing on the latter part when Jesus says, "I am with you ALWAYS, even to the end of the age":
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB)

As my kids get older (14-9), and I am around other kids, I have noticed the kids that have been reared with a Christian background. Not to say that they're all angels but there is a difference in self-discipline, respect, manners, confidence, empathy, etc...
With all the drugs and bad influences out there, a kid has to have a foundation that will allow him/her to stand up and say NO and then have the self confidence to take the persecution as a Badge of Honor!
