Hey..im a gamer..ive always loved them…i didnt get to really enjoy them til i was 18-20…but ive played them my whole life…nary a problem..people like to blame somethin..couldn’t possibly be these little chubby couch potatoes never leavin mamas basement and drinkin 33 energy drinks and 15 gallons of mountain dew..all the while moms slidin $5 pizzas under the door…🤷🏻…i work to play..not the other way around. Im at the tail end of the millennial generation..and that is by default..when vidoe games went to the next level…i play some pretty intense stuff..but..i aknt ever took it serious enough ti cause dang heart problems…thats stupid..i dont blame the game tho..i blame the dumpy out of shape player..as for all the crazy people..they may get their crazy from games..but odds are..theyda got it somewhere else too..bout like a gun.

Hush yo mouf. It definitely couldnt be something like that. Fauci, the NIH, and the CDC said its safe. "Get a refresher jab every three months, give it to newborns". Definitely couldnt be related to that. Gotta be the video games causing heart issues in otherwise perfectly healthy kids.

Mine does both lol. Kids have been dying due to arrhythmia related issues forever. Think SIDS and SADS. I’m very well versed in this area as my parents should have buried me in 1990. Luckily my grandfather gave me CPR following an incident on the lake.

The issue is anything can trigger them. Mine was triggered by water spraying to the face. Sudden “shock” can induce the arrhythmia issues. These issues can and do lay dormant for years then just pop up.

I went through sone significant genetic testing before we had kids as part of a study at the University of Rochester. They were able to identify the specific gene that carried the long QT trait (my issue). The day both of my kids were born I overnighted chord blood to NY and both my kids are negative for that specific gene.

Yes it’s an issue, no it’s not new and read these articles with a grain of salt.

Video games r addictive mine play em but I make mine play a sport just to get them active n give them a bit of coordination if they decide to play later on…i ain’t pushy on how good they do, just want them to give it their best n learn a bit of dicipline and teamwork while at it…

I’ve never understood why video games get such a bad rap. Playing a video game for 3 hours is no different than sitting down to watch a football game or movie. I played video games in high school and I played sports. If anything video games probably keeps a lot of kids out of trouble.

People say video games turn people into bums or make people lazy but the truth is there where plenty of lazy bums prior to video games being invented. As far as the football cs video games argument. I’ve never heard of a high school kid becoming paralyzed because they where playing a video game.
