About 275 yards on a doe using a 280 back in 1994. Now days, all my shots are 200 or less.

362yds in a shooting house with a bag rest. A-bolt 25.06 Nosler 115 gr. partitions under a Nikon Monarch set all the way up on 9 power. It felt right so I took the shot. Longest with a bow was 36 yards but it was an ugly kill and I'm not proud of it. I haven't shot over 24yds with a bow since.

296 yards freehand (father-in-law was a witness and it was ranged after the shot). Just over 300 yards in a shooting house with a steady rest.

Several between 3-400 yds, through the years. Mostly 7mm. Remington magnum. Longest bow shot 67, lasered, plenty of time, maybe I was lucky. Probably wouldn't try it again.

doe at 366 yards across what used to be a cornfield right at dark in a light rain on Christmas eve in choctaw county

Laid in the prone position on the ground and placed the crosshairs at the top of her shoulder

Hit her about 10" low and shattered both of her front legs. She drove with her hind legs with her chin on the ground out of the field and into a small creek with real steep sides.

I didn't find any blood in the field but I did see skid marks in the dirt where she bulldozed her way out of there on her chin/chest...as I got into the tree line I could hear her thrashing around in the water moaning in pain.

I had to climb down in the creek and finish her off. It was brutal and unfair to the animal and made me sick at my stomach. I haven't taken a shot like that since then and won't ever again.

Deer- 401 yards with a 300 wsm
Hog- 250 yards with a 6.8. Largest exit hole I’ve ever seen. If I could post a pic I would.

Somewheres I got a spotting scope video of me shooting an elk at 620 yds. DRT. I'll look for it.

A little over 500 with a Steyr Mountain .308. Doe came out in a woods road. Friend was watching thru binoculars. Usually limit my shots to 300 yds or less.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.
