The farm took a big step in the right direction yesterday with our first ever burn. I loved every second of it. I'll follow up with "after" pics once things green back up. Matt Brock did a great job for us. Burnt on purpose and by request (old, small, dry rotted)

Don't know about the OP, but we used a leaf blower earlier this year to split a mixed stand down the middle along and old ATV trail. Worked like a champ and was pretty quick too. I saw one on FB where a guy made a bracket to mount a BillyGoat parking lot blower on the front of an ATV. "Cull" is just another four letter word...

Luckily, the farm is crisscrossed with ATV trails so it was very easy to add breaks around much of the perimeter.
