On 4 different occasions in 4 different spots I’ve seen single hens alone. I figured they would have some poults at this point. Kinda sad to see this. I guess the nests didn’t make.

The one that's hanging around the house has none

The hens I've seen in Baldwin County were by themselves and had nothing.

I’ve seen poults of several different sizes. Yesterday 14-15 poults the size of Banty’s with 2 hens. 3 hens at the farm had 12 poults that could fly good and 7 poults that could barely get off the ground.

At the same time I’ve seen numerous hens without.

Not every hen is fertile, and not every hen nests.

I found a nest with 13 eggs on April 1. No sign of hen or poults in the area.

I'm not near you, but Ive seen 7 different hens this week. None had any poults. I'm starting to get worried.

Saw a lone hen standing in the middle of a field yesterday, east of Anniston on I-20. No poults that I could see.
