Fish flavored dry cat food, mini marshmellows if it's raining (they won't make a mushy mess)

At one time you could buy the Lucky Charms type marshmallows in bulk from Amazon. Haven't looked lately

If it’s close to a feeder I’ve just used a handful of corn in those traps with a small handful scattered around it. Caught tons of them like that.

I've had a lot of trouble with ants using most baits. Did pretty good last time with corn in the trap and a drizzle of fish oil in front of it just to give them a scent attraction.

I've caught them on peppermint candy.

I have some box traps I set out over the weekend. Drilled a hole through a gatorade bottle and put some wire through it to hang at the end with the trigger. For bait I was told to use peanut butter and the cheapest jelly I could find. One set was untriggered and ate up with ants. Crazy how they still found it on that wire. The other set had a possum in it. I was happy to get something. Gonna give it another go this weekend. Hopefully get some coons.

The cheapest cat food works the best and don't be afraid to use ant spray under your traps. I've been trying to set traps for over a week and it has rained everyday but one and I've only caught 2 so far.

Peppermint is a natural ant repellent and coons love it. You can buy or make your own Peppermint repellent .

I've caught them on Peppermint candy left in the little cellophane wrapper , keeps them dry too.
