I just got back also. I enjoyed hearing lee talk about some of the things he uses and does with his planting. I also saw a new millennium lockons that were nice and pretty good price at 99$. It's made a little different than the original the seat didnt have a back but it was the same material as original seat.

They cut me a good deal on the Millenium Lock ons. They were 200 last year in Birmingham at the show. They were dealing today trying to move a few of these.

That gun store that had all those junk guns also happened to have a Belgium-made Light Twenty in pretty good shape laying right there in the middle of them. $769 asking price. Probably could go in there tomorrow and buy it for under $700 if it's still there. It would have left with me today if it had been a round knob

I was in H'ville for work Friday and went when the doors opened. The guy selling homemade wooden picture frames got $20 from me for two nice frames.

I met and talked with Brad with Treeline Treestands. The maker of The Vine climbing sticks made in Decatur. I tell ya, I was very very impressed with Brad and his dad and their philosophies. They have some GREAT products made here in Alabama. They do the right thing and have above quality products.

I had the opportunity to met Ray Scott. To my surprise, he asked me to come sit down beside him and he kept me there for over an hour telling me stories. Wow!! Mr. Scott is something else and I was highly impressed with him. He had vision years ago and certainly still has it. You can thank him for cleaning up some of our rivers, creeks, etc...

I liked the metal cleaning demo but didn't buy any. Dennis Wilborn had a nice booth. Didn't see Tiffany but I heard she was nice. I'll say it calmly and move on... she is HOT. How 'bout the video camera that fits on your hat? Anybody have any experience with them?

All in all, I liked the show. The vendors would hate me as $20 is all I spent. Oh, I bought a $4 beer which evaporated way too fast.

I'll go to the B'ham show but will try to go on Friday when it's not so crowded.

Oh, I'm trying to "Pimp My Ride" Polaris Ranger. I bow hunt mainly but I will need to transport guns too and would also like to cover the bed and any other neat little accessory that's useful. Maybe they'll have stuff like that at the B'ham Show.

And ruining public fishing forever by bringing us these cowboy jackasses known as tournament bass fishermen. It was all I could do to restrain myself from walking over and swiftly kicking him square in the nuts.

LOL JUGHEAD. I certainly see your point. Well, at least they don't keep the bass they catch. Just stay outta their way as they fly past you at 80 mph trying to catch'em!

If you "were" used to fishing Lake Gunterville almost by yourself several years back, wow, the difference today!!! I haven't been around G'ville until this spring and man-alive at the bass boats.

Saved me from typing all that

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Right. Instead they cook them in hot livewells all day to be "released" to die and become turtle food. I would have a plethora more respect for all that jazz if they would make those stupid tournaments illegal in the summer time or if they would just be honorable and honest and lay the knife to the ones caught in the summertime so at least the fish would go to good use.

Sorry man! I honestly didn't make it by half of the booths. I knew it would be that way bringing my youngest along, but I didn't care much. Was just tickled to death that he agreed to come along with us. smile
