Anyone have a great place to Osceola hunt that will trade 2 total birds for a buddy and I for a big ranch loaded with birds near Valentine Nebraska for 2 Merriam’s next year? Lodging included. Just thought I would reach out here before going on Trips4Trade or so. I’ve always wanted to go for a Florida Osceola but have never had the time or money until my schedule aligned for next year. Just curious; where near Valentine?

I had 9500 acres on the Niobrara for 10+ years that I outfitted on.

Buddy isn’t interested in that but if I hear anything else I’ll holler at ya!

I tried to edit my post as I was wrong it is a 6,000 acre ranch with 5 miles in the niobrara river valley and along it. I honestly can’t tell you as I was there last year but its 15 min south of valentine there along the river.

I was about 20 miles west of Valentine. I had 3+ miles of river bottom but most of my ground was sandhills. I also had 4500 acres north of Valetine in South Dakota that was loaded with whitetail. Very few turkeys and no mulies though.

On a side note: If the Raine Motel is still in town on the west side get the ribeye. It's still the best steak I've ever eaten and I've eaten in LOTS of fine restaurants over the years and I cook a mean steak myself. That steak takes the cake though.
