Anyone have experience with either of these? Is either one much better than the other for hunting deer?

No experience with the 350, but the 450 will drop one DRT.

I’m 1/1 with the Legend and it was bang, flop. Unless going after something larger than deer, I’d pick the Legend. Simply due to ammo availability. At time during the past year it was the only rifle ammo on the shelf in some stores

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

450 is a fun round in the AR platform

I bought a 350 and all I can report is it shoots really good. I got the Ruger American ranch which also uses ar mags. Ammo is a good bit cheaper for the 350 vs a 450 or at least what I have saw and mine loves to eat blue box federal

I don’t have any experience with the 450. I do have a 350 and like it a lot.

I've got both the 450 is a Ruger American the 350 is AR platform. The 450 certainly has more shock and awe. The 350 I was skeptical about but got for my son as a hog gun. I have been shocked by the effectiveness of the .350 Legend. Bang flopped several large boars with it in excess of 200lbs. Now I'm carrying it in the tractor, LOL! Impressed the hellouta me I have to admit.

350 has little to no recoil, quiet and is a hammer on game. It’s got my vote

I have a 450bm Ar-15 and haven't had any trouble finding ammo. Killed one deer with and it did not go far and left a great blood trail.

I’ve used the 350 for 2 deer seasons, with Winchester XP 150 grain and I like it, killed out to 200 ish yards DRT. Recoil is similar to a 30-30. Not a 450 fan.

I own a 450 but everything I’ve read says both calibers are top notch. The 450 is really best from 200 yards and in. Honestly I only have one place where I can get a shot that long

My 450 doesn't kick. It's just got a 5.56 buffer and spring too. I wouldn't say its quiet, but then no short rifle is quiet without some sort of a suppressor.

I bought mine for getting into the thick stuff. I wanted something that would put a big hole in what I was shooting at. What I like about it more than anything is the way I have is "slinged" it is a hands free carry gun. Just rides high on my chest. Every so often, when I take a normal rifle, I quickly realize why I like the 450 so much. It never slides off my shoulder. It doesn't get hung on crap going thru the woods.

The one my buddy has is just a regular bolt action savage. Seemed quiet in relatively to a deer rifle being shot beside me.

I have the Legend and built my buddy a 450. They both kill deer very well. I’ve grown quite fond of the Legend. I find myself carrying it more and more. I shoot the Winchester 180gr sp and everything I killed dropped right there. Probably the only reason I’d take the Legend over the 450 would be the weight. That big barrel is heavy.

In an AR? I don't think my 450 is any heavier than my stainless barrel PSA 5.56.
