Picked up a very nice olive green and black Bear Threat recently. I’ve shot it a few times and I’m not real sure how to describe it. It’s cosmetics seem kind of cheap. It’s effective for what it is and for what I gave for it that’s all I can ask for. Currently getting a Mathews Monster XLR8 restrung and put together the way I want but wanted a backup plan also. Has anyone else handled one of these Bear ready to hunt packages? If so how do these bows and the trophy ridge accessories hold up?

I have the Bear whitetail legend which is along the same line as the threat. It seems to do really well for a economical bow. I killed 4 deer with it this past season and even won a little money with it. Now it's not as smooth or fast or as quiet as a Mathews but it will get the job done.
