If you lookin to see deer in marshall county..lemme stop you there..youll be money ahead to go ride through the park..cause that will be the best chance youll have to see a deer..we aint a hunting county..we got mexicans and meth…methicans…youll be back on here lookin for somethin else..i promise..ive lived and hunted here my whole life…with..next to nothin to show for it..you consider it a good day here if you see a track..much less an actual deer

All dependent on location. I have went on a few properties to track in Marshall county that I would pay pretty good money to hunt. But finding available property like that is the needle in the haystack.

Go ahead n tell him that all 4 locations Equal a couple thousand acres outta Marshall lol....theys some pockets there but in general it's tough...Blount is tough to in certain areas, just depends on the land....theys land I'd feel bad about getting 3 dollars an acre for and some down the road I'd pay $20 for on a lease

Like bar270 said…you could count on one hand the places that have deer in decent numbers..the places where there is a little land and a few deer are places where the habitat is less fractured and there are fewer people..just like pretty much everywhere in zone c..we have always had poor fawn recruitment and when they moved us to 2 does a day our initially decent population growth got put on hiatus..its getting better..slowly..we live somewhere that that has too many limiting factors..ie. too much fractured and poor quality habitat combined with too many people and the ilk that goes along with them..spread around..shoulder to shoulder so to speak..and the places youd pay good money to hunt..either want let you hunt..or it will cost you your first born child..or..it will look great..be of a reasonable price..and youll hunt..and hunt…aaannnndddd hunt..and hunt..an may or may not see a squirrel..places like i just mentioned are so far and few between they aint even worth mentioning..you are right tho..very dependent on location..but..that to..would insinuate a ray of hope in finding said location and being given an opportunity to hunt..folks here aint got a whole lot..an they stingy with what they have..but if you look long enough and hard enough..you might find somethin..i personally think blount county and morgan too are very pretty counties..ive seen many more deer there in passing…but still..id go west..preferrably texas😃🇺🇸

Got some go ones in Marshall but hard to find them. Hunted this one a few years back. Adjacent land owner killed him. Around 150-160 inch.

I live in sardis..theres a couple..but theses worthless rednecks think that if they see one..its gotta die..even if you gotta shoot it off the side of the road..i had a few does on a camera once..people over the road killed ever one of them…i own a little land an me and the landowners around here have some of the biggest blocks with lots of better than average habitat..we aint seen a dang deer since those..that was like 2018…i keep a camera out with corn..or did..i give up this year..i hadnt had a deer around here for im gonna say 2.5 years..ghat aint to say they aint one a mile up the road..but considering the quality of habitat..i stand a good chance catchin a few comin through..i still aint got a picture of a dang buck an thats aggervated me somethin awful.. i went all last year an got coyotes an coons..i got 8 yotes in one pic..i reduced that number shortly after.
