Hey everybody. I hope everyone is doing well. I am working with some scientists here at Auburn who have been examining issues surrounding Chronic Wasting Disease, and with the recent discovery of CWD in Alabama, we were hoping to develop a better understanding of Alabama deer hunters’ concerns, desires, and attitudes. Understanding what YOU as a hunter in Alabama want in regards to CWD will help ultimately improve the ability of agencies and managers to meet the needs of both hunters and wildlife. We have developed a survey for deer hunters to help us collect this information, and we are hoping that you will take some time to fill it out (and maybe even pass it to some other fellow hunters to help us increase our sample size). If you would like to fill out this survey, click HERE. All information in this survey will be anonymous, and will not be shared with any other group. However, summaries of the data generated will be made public in report form. This project is being conducted solely by personnel in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences at Auburn, and is being financially supported solely by Auburn as well. No outside organizations are involved in the funding, development, or implementation of this survey. Thanks for catching that...we missed it. The survey should be corrected now so that if you have a lifetime license, that is an option.

Thank you for getting this survey out.
One comment based on how I perceived a question on the survey.
The question referencing purchasing a license next season should, in my opinion, be rephrased. I have a lifetime license so I will not be purchasing licenses next year but if I am answering NO then I am biasing that sample when I will be hunting in AL.
