We hunted Kimberly Clark land when I was younger before all of it got leased and we really just hunted one tract that was close to the house, it was 1100 acres if I remember correctly and we killed good deer and saw deer most sits and rarely saw other people. It was nothing like public land is now. I guess we were lucky or there’s just that many more hunters now a days

Bowater Kimberly Clark Hiwasse Seems like some them was 5 bucks back then they weren't much and alot of that ground wasn't hunted real hard. Sj we were lucky back then alot more deer than there is now and had plenty of good places to hunt that didn't cost you a arm and a leg

I sure do wish they would go back to doe days, I believe it would improve hunting in most of the state.

I sure do wish they would go back to doe days, I believe it would improve hunting in most of the state. Y’all just hadn’t killed enough does yet. You got to shoot them until you can go at least 10 days without seeing a deer - then the hunting is really getting good.
