johnv OP 10 point J Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 2,848 Al, Union Grove	Track number 2 was a high shoulder shot with a crossbow. Jumped the deer about 500 yards into the track. The dogs came back to me after running it 1.75 miles. I'm sure he'll live to see another day.

Hit the deer very low as you can see in the pic. Started tracking at 13hrs and jumped him about 500 yards away. The dogs ran him and the briars eventually opened him up. He crossed some people's yard so we had to get permission. They didn't believe us till I showed them a speck of blood about 20 yards from the porch. We found him about 200 yards dead in a briar patch
