Was wanting to see what yall put in the windows of your shooting houses to help hide. In the past I've normally just stapled camo burlap up but I just put up a new shooting house Saturday and wanted to try something different. I bought some of the camo netting that is similar to the material that screens are made out of and I was thinking about making something more like a curtain that would slide on a wire just inside the shooting house that I could slide back and tack when ready to shoot and just run the wire through small I hooks running around the inside. If someone don't mind posting the picture for me I can text you a picture of the shooting house to post on here to get a better idea of what I've got.

I use camo burlap and sew down a piece of the top just big enough to slide a normal curtain rod thru and put up a curtain rod across each window with the burlap cut the size of the window across and about four inches below the window. I cut the burlap in half so you can put it open to each side. Works great!

I use the really fine camo screen material or the leafy kind. On ladder stands I get the plastic stuff that looks like what the military uses.

Either camo net or tint the windows and leave them down

I’m a huge stickler for breaking outline and movement. Most shooting houses have none and an old doe’s mission when she cracks her eyes open every day is to examine every window and snort her fool head off at any movement she sees.

I go buy the camp netting the same kind they make face masks out of.

This is what I bought to use. I figured it may hold up better than burlap once I cut it to the size I'm wanting.

Put a awning over the window. Be amazed at what shading the window does. It also makes it harder for deer to spot a open window that wasnt open before and spook. We use scraps strips of tin or plywood. Most will be 12-18" and then the width of the window.
It also helps your last light visibility because if you mount it right you have the sky shaded out

All my windows open out and up. Keeps rain off and keep me in the shadows....

I read the title to this post twice and still thought it said " shooting window AMMO"

I thought damn, they have ammo specifically for shooting out truck windows now....
