A white, blue cat. Strange times.... Is it a blue? I haven’t caught any other blues in this lake yet and guess I didn’t expect them with its size (650 acres) and max depth (65 feet or so). It’s look like a channel cat to me.
A friend, the Bible and a banker will get you though about anything.

we had several in our farm pond in TN for years....a few of them were huge (probably 30-35 #). My uncle treated them like pets and insisted they always be released if caught (which they were on a relatively regular basis). He fed them dog food, would fill a metal coffee can with the food and walk out on the dock, bank the can against the pilings a few times then throw the food out. After a while, you could just bang an empty coffee tin and those catfish would come swimming up, circling the dock.

That looks like a regular ol muddy water channel cat to me. To be an albino it would have to be solid white with pink eyes.

That looks like a regular ol muddy water channel cat to me. To be an albino it would have to be solid white with pink eyes. Not the greatest pics, cell phone at night and all, but it did have pink eyes and fins and was all white save the top of the back. Either way I’ve got tons of catfish and never seen one anywhere close to like this one.
