My wife and I got over 18 acres in food plots planted Friday. It was 5 days of hard work discing, fertilizing and planting. We finished Friday and just as we were walking back to the barn the rain started. Perfect timing.
Cant wait to see them in a week or two. Planted 5 to 6 acres in an Alfalfa/clover mix this year in two of our pastures. Hoping I can get year round Alfalfa established as I have huge year round clover plots now that really hold deer all year. 5 days of work?!? Dang! Yes, I got here Sunday afternoon and left Friday afternoon but got it all done. I had bush hogged 20 acres , fertilized my clover stands and sprayed weed killer last week and that took a couple days as well, but I do it all myself . I dont mind, I hunt the whole place myself as well.

Sounds like a 5 day vacation to me. LOL No it was hard work but Ill admit there was some serious Titos consumed after each day!
