So how do you guys that are buying corn in the barrels getting it into your feeder if you are doing it as a one man job? I'm sure getting it into 5 gallon buckets probably? We have to stand on the back of the ranger to get our bagged corn into our banks feeders now. Sure would be nice to have a little mini grain elevator of some sorts. My buddy in GA has a grain cart with a built in chute and a motor on it, he just pulls beside his feeder, gets the shoot over the opening and turns it on. I keep my eye open for something similar for sale, but haven't seen one like it.

Bucket from truck bed or off ladder.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

We leave feeders low so a 6ft man can easily reach the top.

I've actually takled to the guy that owns this company. it's expensive but I thought it was a good idea. He was receptive to modifications but never got back with me.

That's the kind of idea I was thinking about. Stick that thing down in the barrel, put the tube over the top of your feeder and let it rip - but yes, that one would obviously need some mods to work for that. One man can't even really handle a full barrel to get it into 5 gallon buckets w/out scooping. I want to take the barrels in the back of the truck or ranger out to the feeders and get them filled. For now, still using sacks, but would love to move to barrels or some other bulk method.

I put the barrel in the back of my truck and back up the feeder and transfer the corn from the drum to the feeder with a feed scoop or small bucket.

I use 5 gallon buckets and the bed of the utv. I've got one feeder that I put long legs on and I have to use a 6' step ladder to get feed in it.

I have seen people using a leaf blower to transfer corn. One of those battery powered leaf blowers may work for 3-4 feeders.

Look dusty...

^ This

I use 55 gal drum feeders and fill a spare 55 gal barrel for each feeder in the back of the truck at the feed mill and just pull along side my feeders and refill each feeder standing in the back of the truck transfering from the full drum to the feeder drum with a 5 gal bucket. Takes just a couple minutes per feeder and still not hard work. Y’all make this complicated! 😅
