For the 1 5/8 oz loads in 9’s, I shoot a .587 Carlsons in my Benelli 20 gauge. Some loads I patterned I like a .582 Undertaker.

sportrep 4 point S Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 459 Northport, Alabama	I shot 1 5/8 oz load of 9s. First shot on paper at 40 yards shocked me (very tight) so I shot another - same result. I shot one at 20 yards that was roughly the size of a grapefruit. Too tight for me to be comfortable with in most of my hunting situations. The factory modified choke was nowhere close in uniformity or density to the factory full. I now have another 20ga dove gun 😜.

I haven't mic the factory full in the benelli to see its constriction yet. Ill check it and try it but if its to tight Ill go a different direction. GOBBLE SEEKER
