If you try and knock out a piece of stump between two scalloped discs, and you don’t watch carefully you will end up with stitches 😂. Planted the big plot on the family farm today. 15 min into the process and I’m calling my wife to get a suture kit ready 🤦🏻‍♂️. Cut my index finger to the bone on the knuckle. Almost PERFECTLY parallel to the scar from the last time I got stitches.

Gotta keep gloves handy man. Glad that’s all you had go wrong

I still have the scar from 50 years ago and just about cut off my pinky. Always have to careful working around your disc.

They were handy! They were in the tractor cup holder 4’ away. Just a momentary lapse of stupidity.

We all get in a rush. Glad it wasn’t way worse.

I just about did the same thing Saturday. Lowered the disc to the ground and stomped it out instead.

Cut the toe of my boot clean open a couple of years ago doing the same thing. Ruined the boot but it didn't hit skin.

Dang - hand cuts r sensitive - had my stitches before - still shot mid 70s w them too 😀

Will someone explain to the uninitiated what happened here?

Picked up a chunk of wood in his disc. Got pissed off and caught a case of headinthearse syndrome. Went to beating on the piece of wood a cut da chit outa is finger on the disc blade. That’s what I got from it and I know exactly what he’s talking about. If I had a $ for every cut I got from a disc, I’d be retired now.

I had to have stitches this past Sunday in my left index finger. Cut it to the bone about 3” long with a handheld brush saw while teal hunting before daylight. Never even knew that I cut it until I felt something sticky all over my hand. I turned the flashlight on to see the whole left side of my pants and shirt covered in blood. That damn saw was sharp I tell ya.

Wooeee!!
