Same thing happened to me on a doe 2 years ago...now I have pictures of a doe that look like her shoulder blade is sticking straight up. Her nickname is sharkfin. Shot her with a muzzy 3 blade 100grain. I'm debating on just letting her live...she still comes around my feeder.

I can't believe that RamCat broadhead didn't blow straight through. I couldn’t believe it either. I went to get some new broadheads Monday and almost didn’t buy the Ramcats. I’ve had great success with them, other than this time, so I’m giving them another try.

High shoulder and probably just glanced off the shoulder blade since it was quartering away. It stuck in him and he carried it roughly 800 yds. Had good blood in the shot area but the blood trail got spotty as it went on. Just a drop here and there every 20-25ft.
