Didn’t see many deer at all but we grunter and rattled that big 7 in as the only field on our section smelled like pure rutting buck. Neither me or my guest ever saw any shooter bucks and deer movement was kinda slow, but there were a couple killed that weekend. I'm hoping there will be a little more action roughly 2 weeks earlier.

Hopefully the lady with the mustache is still cooking them up. If so, they’ll be 👌. I went as an alternate and my hunter shot a doe in the middle of an 200 acre cutover on the first afternoon that all the deer in our unit bedded in. When I was first looking at the map I immediately marked that finger coming out of that pasture to the middle of unit 2. I’d imagine that’s some sort of natural funnel.
