If I got up tomorrow and decided to go hunt Oakmulgee National Forest land between the WMA and Duncanville what kind of gun could I hunt with? I’m gonna go look it up and see but wanted to know if anybody was already ahead of the game. Centerfire rifle? Bow and arrow? Shotgun buckshot or slugs?
Thanks for any help.

I think this is the regulation because it’s public land and there’s no closed daytime season on Feral pigs

Whatever you want to use. Forest doesn’t matter on gun/ ammo For hogs.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I use my AR 15 out there for stalking them. Good luck it’s going to be extremely muddy out there.

I used a 6.5 grendel ar15 for hogs in the forest and a .22 mag in the wma. There are a few spots with hogs left but they been trapping/nightshooting the daylights out of them for a decade now. Really made them spooky and knocked the numbers down.
